This place is way over priced for mediocre food. Most of the time that I go there, there is a mistake on the order. Yesterday I went there with my boyfriend and another couple, and they wouldn't let us use a coupon on each bill, even though we're both grown adult couples and were paying separately, and ordered plenty of food and all had an adult beverage. They told us only one coupon per table of 20! And when we showed the waitress the coupon, she had to have the manager come out to approve it, which just seemed kind of silly. Try to avoid this place if you can!

Stopped for happy hour after work (goes until 6:30 instead of the normal 6!) everything was really great. I ordered a classic margarita - perfectly mixed. Appetizers are $5 each during happy hour and I got the BBQ chicken flatbread and the fire wings with mild buffalo sauce. The flatbread was tasty and fresh. I had to laugh a little at the size of the wings but you get quite a few of them for $5 and they tasted good. Everybody was friendly, I'll definitely stop again.

Very disappointing. We actually had pretty good service however the waitress continually tried to up sell everything I mean everything. I understand trying to pair the salad bar with our entrees or sandwiches but she just wouldn't take no for an answer on anything. I ordered the Quesadilla & I probably should have read the description better bc it was so disgusting. My husband said his burger was so-so & the kids didn't think much of there food either. Just really blah! The main reason this gets such a low grade from me is bc of the constant up sell even to my kids with appetizers, desserts etc. It was just super annoying & nothing I've experienced before.

Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said... It's a Ruby Tuesdays. I do like it better than Applebee's, though. Burgers, sea food, salads and pasta. Appetizers are pretty good, though I personally think a little on the pricy side. Salad bar is... A salad bar. Nothing too special. The soups are usually pretty good. I like their side dish options- you have more choices than just French fries or rice pilaf. They have some healthier choices like steamed broccoli, tomato slices with balsamic vinegar, and (I think) mashed cauliflower. Atmosphere is fine, lights are bright enough, booths and chairs are pretty comfy, not too loud or too cold! They have a barbecue chicken flatbread on the "seasonal" menu right now- I'd really like to see it added to the regular menu, because it's really good- definitely the best thing I've ordered there!

Nothing special. Stopped for lunch and found it pretty empty. Food was average at best. Salad bar lacking in freshness. Bartender/server was friendly however.

I have enjoyed this place many times! Not much for way of sit down restaurants in cottage grove and like this option! Good food, good salad bar, good drinks, good service. Friendly management and staff.

Dined at this Ruby Tuesdays and am sure we will never return. Staff too busy to bring mustard to table - 3 requests. Server spilled water over table. Well done burger ordered but I was brought another patron's rare burger. Entire family was finished before I got my server's attention. I settled for a bowl of soup. Hope they can improve.

Dry rice and spaghetti squash . Fries were cold and burger had no flavor . The salmon for 17.99 was dry and over cooked! Not good at all. Can see why the place is empty on a sat night!!!

It's alright. Pricey food with a bit of trying to be too fancy. I go here rarely. They have biscuits which are a rip-off of Red Lobster's much better biscuits.

Ruby Tuesday is one of those good compromise restaurants where most people in a large group can come away reasonably satisfied. Personally, I find their burgers really dang good and would rank them among more pretentious "craft" burgers in terms of taste and quality. I had the triple prime bacon cheeseburger and was not disappointed. The meat was very tender, buttery and nicely marbled. Ironically, my only beef was with the bacon which sat on top in two comically small strips, like a pair of anorexic bandaids. Service was good but very rushed and super glib IMHO. I don't need my server grinning ear to ear and throwing out smartass one-liners. Excuse me, I have a question. "Well I have an answer!" *eyeroll* He also kept coming back asking how we're doing, or if we needed any boxes before we were even halfway done eating trying to turn the table over. Finally, we have a two-year old who brought our party to 5 people. He doesn't use a highchair, but they sat us at a four-top. We had to drag a 5th chair over ourselves as the host just stood there. A theme emerging - maximize butts per seat, turn tables quickly, efficiency in the FOH over guest satisfaction. In any case, it was a fine meal. FOH could use some fine tuning but overall things were good.

Great food, awesome service. My husband and I went out for a couple drinks and apps. Mariah M was our server, and was one of the best servers I have had in a long time. Will go again!

I think the food here is good overall. I have been here several times and have never not liked my meal. During my last visit the service was excellent. Our server really went out of her way to make our dinner pleasant.

So below average and overpriced for what you get. This one can't make a good burger to save its life and their prime burgers are beat buy any number of local bars. Service is OK and that's the best thing I can say about this "hand crafted" (their foolish term),disappointment.

Food was good, but once again another restaurant that doesn't have a changing table in the men's bathroom.

good food. salad bar is great. the bar area service has always been horrible. I have only had one recent good experience. the other times the customer service is really slow. serve and forget about us every time. prices are fair and the burgers are great. if customer service was great, we would be inclined to dine here more often. we live a mile away and probably would chose Culvers over this 19 times out of 20.

Family dinner here based on family member's previous visit being very good. Not sure what to make of this place. The staff go well over the top trying to make sure that you're happy with your food, but we had to send back two steaks and they both came back over done. And it took a long time for them to return from the kitchen so we had to start eating 10 mins after everyone else. Cook came out and seemed to be concerned that everything as now okay but ... Manager on duty really went the extra mile in trying to make up for it. Comped one meal, free desert and etc. I'd try it again. I think the chef/cook was having a very bad day. One interesting thing. Looked at the beer menu and found Yuengling--very rare to see it in the Midwest, or even off the east coast. Many happy pitchers have been slammed at a small seaside pic nic place in DAB. Happy to see it in MN I ordered. Sever came back like 10 mins later and said, yeah, that beer, it's more for the east coast Ruby Tuesday restaurants and they don't offer Yuengling at this one. I did not ask SO WHY THEN IS IT ON THE MENU??! because it just seemed so obviously bizarre.

Been eating here since it was built and the food is usually great. I've never had poor service here. Drawbacks: tables and booths are a little too small for comfort. (I'm a slim 5'8" ) Obviously they sacrificed customer comfort for capacity. Some of the healthy items aren't that tasty. My husband ordered the squash spaghetti which was mediocre. The bun on the turkey burger tasted oddly sweet. We normally eat meals like this at home. The last time I ate there 3 days ago the atmosphere was completely ruined by awful loud music. It sounded like light pop/acoustic with monotone singing. It made me want to go to sleep; not the music you would expect during the dinner hour at Ruby Tuesday.

It's been a year or two since we have eaten at a Ruby Tuesdays. Now I remember why! I ordered a Smokehouse burger and it was mediocre. There was barely any BBQ sauce on it. I asked for Medium and got Well. The fries that came with the food were so salt ridden that my husband who eats salt on EVERYTHING said - "whoa - those are SALTY fries!". I don't know if I have ever heard him say that. I didn't know he could taste too much salt. Their new rectangle plates mean that when you eat a burger the juice and stuff slobber all over the table and all over your french fries. It was a mess. They bring ketchup in little tubs and it's like two tablespoons of ketchup. Although I like the cleanliness of this they never give you enough ketchup. And then you have to flag down the waitress and bag for more. And they are always so happy about it. The coffee cups are so big that you can't get to the bottom before you get a warmer - which means your coffee just gets colder and colder. They use big cups to keep the waitresses from having to fill them so often. They even have little signs that say your cup will never be half empty. My husband got a bowl of soup and a salad bar and it cost as much as my burger and fries. And his food was just rented as when we got to the store next door he had to run to the bathroom twice. Not cool. And finally our waitress pushed desert like her life depended on it. What the hell lady. I said NO! No means no! And now I know why we haven't been to a Ruby Tuesdays in years. It's like fending off a telemarketer instead of ordering from a waitress. The food is spendy for the quality. (How much is too much when the salad bar is just rented?) The atmosphere is mediocre. Ick. Oh and the topper - The soap foam in the bathroom shot up and a chunk of the foam hit my boob on my shirt. AND STAINED IT. I had a purplish soap mark on my boob the rest of the day. Not cool.

Good burgers. Service is usually good. It's a typical chain restaurant.

Not too bad I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants because they all serve the same things under a different sign but I feel like I was treated rite the bartender / waiter was fast and helpful
